TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., June 17, 2026 — Promethient, Inc., a leader in personal thermal comfort technologies, announced the launch of its new ThermaXis™ brand and product solutions at NeoCon 2026, the commercial interiors industry’s premier trade show held June 8-10, 2026, in Chicago. The company’s new thermal comfort solutions were enthusiastically received by furniture manufacturers, dealers, designers, and workplace professionals seeking new approaches to improve employee comfort, productivity, and workplace wellness.
The NeoCon introduction marks an important milestone for ThermaXis, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Promethient, Inc., created to focus exclusively on indoor thermal comfort applications. ThermaXis builds upon nearly a decade of Promethient’s experience developing advanced thermal management technologies while expanding the company’s reach into office furniture and other indoor environments.
“The creation of ThermaXis is the culmination of nine years of learning from our customers and responding with new solutions aimed at indoor thermal comfort,” said Bill Myers, CEO of Promethient. “The ThermaXis product line is ideally suited to meet the ‘back-to-office’ trend, and the response we received at NeoCon validated our belief that there is a significant opportunity to improve workplace comfort while helping organizations realize HVAC energy cost savings.”
The ThermaXis product platform features advanced heating and cooling technologies that can be integrated into office seating solutions or offered as an aftermarket solution compatible with many of today’s most popular task chairs. By providing personalized thermal comfort directly to the seat, these solutions will enhance worker satisfaction while supporting broader workplace sustainability initiatives. Given the inherent efficiency and near-silent operation, ThermaXis-equipped seating offers a simple and effective solution that will not disrupt the workplace with unwanted noise or power cables.
Promethient’s original Thermavance® brand will continue to focus on heating and cooling systems for outdoor seating applications, including stadiums, marine seating, and other outdoor seating applications. ThermaXis and Thermavance together position the company to address thermal comfort needs across a wide range of indoor and outdoor seating use cases.
